A Safe Place Incorporation was birthed in December of 2022.  Empowering others has always been a passion. After extensive research on the lack of support for battered women in my community and assisting countless women suffering from abuse, I decided to start a non-profit organization to help make a difference.

I've always had a compassion for helping women after growing up witnessing domestic violence as well as being a survivor of it myself.

Our goal is to build self-esteem and self-worth and promote the importance of behavioral health. Since starting this organization, many women have boldly reached out to us and stopped suffering in silence. Our organization has helped provide resources for restitution and information on how to escape safely.
